VEJEN TIL ASGÅRD REVIEW BY BAKIS SIRROS NOVEMBER 2005

Track1: very dark atmosphere with moody sounds and a Biosphere like feeling. But mostly with a creative Nattefrost feel, of course. A very nice track indeed!

Track2: starts with some blippy sequences that remind me of Carboneids, but with a darker melody. Again very nice and with an edgar froese Pinnacles edge.

Track3: starts with a fairly standard sequence and moody chords. But then this tracks mutates into a dark elegy! Very nice low bass timpani drums with an overall dark airy atmo.

Track4: probably, my favourite track (together with track 5)! Starts with a sequence of dark droney bass sounds, a few “horror” string chords and then a “full” orchestral “section” is added too. An awesome melody and mood. This must be really “symphonic” electronica of the best kind…

Track5: a bass sequence ala early TD begins the track, and synthetic “choral”-like sounds enter latter. Then low tympani drums are added too…but, wait! A really moving melody then enters and makes this track again one of the

highlights of this EP! An overall great track.
Track6: and the track1 “reprise” appears. Again very moody synth chords enter with a Biosphere atmo again. A great track to close this EP, indeed.

Overall, a very very good homogenic/concept EP and, for me, the best work from Nattefrost I have heard so far! And, as this is the latest effort from Nattefrost, I really can expect a “Gem” cd album from him in the near future…
